Connect the dots: 1) New research shows that previous models have underestimated the potential sea level rise from global warming, and that a rise of as little as 2 degrees Celsius could lead to catastrophic climate change.

2) According to the IPCC, the "best guess" minimum likely amount of warming we will see in the 21st century: 1.8 degrees Celsius.

Our toes are over the cliff-edge, people. And we're leaning forward.
