With all the talk about the Shia revival in Iran, Iraq, Lebanon, and Bahrain, I have a question I can't seem to answer at the moment (also busy today) - what is the potential for Sunni Muslims to "convert" to Shiism?
Not an expert, but I would say about the same chance as Protestants in Northern Ireland converting to Catholicism or visa versa. In other words, maybe it happens on an individual level, but that is not what either side is interested in.
