Please Monkey Jesus Make It Stop

Okay, we have officially paid too much attention to this crazy bitch:
MONTREAL (CP) - She might not always have time for Tim Hortons but Karla Homolka certainly has a lot more of it than before to sip iced cappuccinos from the giant Ontario-based coffee retailer.

The freezing caffeine drink was at the top of Homolka's wish list when a TV interviewer asked her after her prison release Monday what she most wanted to do. "This is stupid," Homolka, now Canada's most notorious female ex-inmate, told Radio-Canada. "I'd like to have an iced cappuccino. An iced cappuccino from Tim Hortons, that's what I'd like to do."...

"We know our customers differentiate our company and the relationship from her comments," Skinner said in an interview Tuesday.

"And we have faith they can make that distinction."

Re:Please, please, please stop.

Seriously, people, do you have to interview Tim Horton's employees? And is the most important part of this story that it might affect Tim Horton's sales?

Sincerely,
The Canadian People.

I'd mail the letter, but I suspect the media are now in a cold, dark place - the light from "good taste" must take centuries to get there.
