12,000?

And they wonder why the US isn't exactly loved in Iraq these days. 12,000 dead from the insurgency in the last 18 months. Meanwhle, last September the Iraqi Ministry of Health reported that the US was killing twice as many civilians as the insurgents. That would mean that, in the last 18 months, the US has killed 8,000 civilians.

You know what, neocons? I don't think your biggest problem is Amnesty International calling Guantanamo a gulag. I think there are 8,000 Iraqi families who'd like some payback, and I think the US is doing a piss-poor job of keeping things under control. I think that debt is going to be collected on, with interest.
