NEW YORK (CNN) -- A Muslim man jumped to the aid of three Jewish subway riders after they were attacked by a group of young people who objected to one of the Jews saying "Happy Hanukkah," a spokeswoman for the three said Wednesday....Guh.. but.. snuh...
One member of the group allegedly yelled, "Oh, Hanukkah. That's the day that the Jews killed Jesus," she said.
I suppose it goes without saying that anti-semitism and ignorance go hand in hand, but Jesus wept. Is it too much to ask that Christians understand minor points of their own theology, like Easter?

No, because Good Friday was when the ROMANS killed him.
I suppose I was using "Easter" as a shorthand for the several days in the vernal equinox, not the winter solstice, that marks Christ's execution and rebirth.
