Quick hit

The fact that the broadcasters implicated in now-Pulitzer-prize winning reporting on their coziness with the military industrial complex have largely managed to stay silent about all of it is really, really, really upsetting.

In some ways, yeah. It's one thing to realize all the ways that the system works to silence the news, it's quite another to realize that it can work so effectively even when there are strong voices within the establishment trying to push it out.
