Fuck you and go away

Hillary Clinton:
My husband did not wrap up the nomination in 1992 until he won the California primary somewhere in the middle of June, right? We all remember Bobby Kennedy was assassinated in June in California.
She's already apologized, and well she should. Seriously, is Sen. Clinton sticking in the race in the hopes that a tragedy befalls Sen. Obama?

No, I doubt that's what she meant. I think she was just pointing to a date on a calendar, and noting that there are other primary contests that have gone into June. Still, it was a really dumb and callous reference to make.

if she is that callous, is that the kind of person americans want as Prez?

Well, I didn't vote for her in the primary. So there's that.

The reference to her husband would have been sufficient to mark the date, as would any contested primary before then.

She may not want Obama dead, but I think there's probably a bit of "hey, anything can happen" playing in to her thinking at this point.

She apologized to the Kennnedy's, not Obama, for very directly implying that she's running in case, you know, he gets killed. Because shit happens. Wow.

It's hard to comprehend that anyone could possibly say that and not be immediately thrown overboard by the rest of her party, but these are teh Democrats. They'll be talking nice about Clinton even after she joins the McCain ticket (because, you know, he's pretty old, and shit happens, and she should be there, just in case).
