My inevitable triumph over all media begins

Okay, this is just kind of neeto. Summer before last, after reading Fred Pearce's book When the Rivers Run Dry, I wrote a review for Gristmill, posted it, struck up a correspondence with a few other people who read it, and then soon moved on.

Then I picked up Pearce's latest book from the library, With Speed and Violence, and what should I see on the back of the book?
