The NDP Is Relevant Again

Emerson's floor-crossing is confirmed. This means that the NDP, with the BQ and the Liberals, now have the ability to give the Conservative 154 votes in the Commons. That's enough for the NDP to play a real role in this Parliament, much like they did in the last one.

I wonder if Harper will have better luck building coalitions in the Commons than Martin did.
