Why Do I Read The BBC?

I mean, they have some excellent coverage, but every once in a while they insert a sentence that makes me question what the British education system is doing these days. Like this article about China's revaluation of the Yuan:

Are you kidding me? Gee, can anyone in the audience think why Beijing might not want to recognize Taipei's right to mint it's own money? (Hint: Minting coin is usually the right of sovereign governments.)
