Linkin Park wants out of their contract with Warner Music. They say the label is only interested in revenues, not artists.
Okay, so Linkin Park are idiots if they're only figuring that out now. Still, let's remember who the real bad guys are in this fight - the music labels.

I hate the big labels as much as the next guy, but I don't think Linkin Park is motivated by artistic concerns. They're just worried that Warner won't market them enough.
From the BBC piece: "'Linkin Park has become increasingly concerned that WMG's diminished resources will leave it unable to compete in today's global music marketplace, resulting in a failure to live up to WMG's fiduciary responsibility to market and promote Linkin Park,' the band's management company said."
