I saw the most amazing thing on the way to school today.
A small child, no more than 6 or 7 years old, had made a small pedestal of snow. She was using this small mount (really, it was no higher than a foot off the ground) to stand abover her friend, to whom she was singing - at the top of her lungs, full of passion - Queen's We Are The Champions.
Now, the pedestal is probably already gone - we had a bunch of new snow tonight. Moreover, even at the top of her hill, I could have walked up and towered over her. But there she was, singing to the world her dominion over everything she saw.
I thought of this, for some reason.
