A good roundup of terrifying possibilities for runaway global warming.

So... a six-metre rise in sea levels from the WAIS plus a 7-metre rise from Greenland comes to 13 metres (or three and a half storeys.)

As devastating as this will be to countries like Japan and England, China is likely to be as badly affected, if not worse - the vast majority of Chinese economic growth has occurred in the coastal provinces, precisely those who will be most adversely affected by the rise in sea level. Shanghai, Hong Kong, Ghuangzhou, and most of the Manchurian coast are likely to be severely damaged, if not flooded outright. Never mind the damage to Taiwain...
