The Iraqi elections did not make the war "right". They may be a positive outcome of the war, but that's kind of like saying that the drop in heroin prices in Europe means that the war in Afghanistan was "right". After all, the small Afghan farmer is now back on his way to prosperity after years of oppression, right?
(By the way, don't even joke about the status of Afghan women. "Better than the Taliban" still ain't hot shit.)
Sorry, but this is apparently something some people have difficulty with. If you wouldn't have supported a war pitched as "a $300 billion war to install an Iranian-friendly Shiite regime with a leaning towards Sharia law", then you still don't support this war.
