Made In Canada

So the latest attempt by the Conservatives to demonize Kyoto is to talk about the need for a "made in Canada" solution to climate change. Apparently, the Conservatives think we're all as hysterically xenophobic as they are. But let's run with this a second. Doesn't that mean that Canada should have a made in Canada response to the issue of gay marriage? Therefore, shouldn't the leader of Her Majesty's loyal opposition denounce foreign groups agitating to influence domestic politics?

Of course not, you Communists. While we're at it, we should abandon these other 'foreign' treaties:
  • The United Nations Charter (inked in San Francisco... you know what I'm talking about.)
  • The Geneva Conventions (The Swiss? Please.)
  • The North Atlantic Treaty (NATO? What have they done for us lately?)
Remember everyone, if it didn't ban Land Mines or CFC's, it doesn't count!
